Our first (patent pending) invention is called
SOTAR is an active version on the passive SONAR technology, where besides distance measurement also identification-data and digital signatures are exchanged, which makes manipulation or denial of a possible proximity impossible.
What makes SOTAR stand out?
SOTAR is unique because the measurement is:
-
based on
ultrasound waves instead of radio waves (like Bluetooth), or light waves (like Laser and LiDAR), which makes centimeter (or millimeter) resolutions more accurate and much easier too achieve, and -
based on a
transponder system with cryptographically-strong identification of each device, which makes SOTAR an'active reflection' system, as opposed to a 'passive reflection' system (which is what SONAR does).
This simulation shows how SOTAR devices send messages to each other and measures the distance:
Onze eerste (patent pending) uitvinding heet
-
